Trash Collection Reminders

Never guess when recycling is collected. We track your local recycling rotation—including alternating A/B weeks where applicable—and remind you when it's time.

Advance notices to move parked vehicles off the street before sweeping trucks arrive to avoid parking citations and keep curb areas clear.

Trash pickup isn't the same everywhere. TrashReminders matches your address to your local collection rules, including recycling rotations, bulk pickup days, and holiday shifts where available.
Address-Specific Schedules
Matched directly to your street, municipality, and local neighborhood hauler
Local Holiday Adjustments
Automatic slide alerts when city-observed holidays shift your collection day

Bulk & Special Item Notices

Why not just set a phone alarm or check the city website?
A static phone alarm doesn't know when a holiday slides your pickup by a day or when recycling alternates. TrashReminders does the checking for you.
Standard Phone Alarm
- ✕Misses Alternating Recycling: Cannot track rotating bi-weekly schedules throughout the year, leaving bins out on empty weeks.
- ✕Blind to Holiday Route Delays: Doesn't know when Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas, or New Year's Day pushes collection back 24 hours.
- ✕Doesn't Know When Schedules Change: A phone alarm is static and cannot adapt when routes change, holidays shift collection, or hauler schedules update.
- ✕Misses Bulk & Large-Item Windows: Special monthly or quarterly bulk pickup days get forgotten.
- ✕Missed-Pickup Headaches: Rotting trash baking in summer heat, overflowing bins, and avoidable neighborhood citation warnings.

What about your city's free website or 311 app?
Most municipalities offer a basic schedule portal or 311 map. Here is why homeowners choose TrashReminders instead:
No SMS Text Alerts
City portals rarely send SMS messages. If they offer alerts at all, they rely on spammy emails or clunky app notifications that get buried.
Requires Manual Checking
Municipal sites require you to remember to open a browser, search your street, and decipher PDF calendars every time you are unsure.
No A/B Recycling Tracking
Cities publish static calendar tables with Week A / Week B codes that leave residents guessing whether this week is their recycling rotation.
Zero HOA Compliance Timing
City systems don't know your HOA's cart rules. We send reminders at the ideal evening window (8:00 PM) so you avoid \$50–\$100 citations.
No Advance Bulk Reminders
Cities don't remind you 3 days before your bi-monthly bulk or heavy item window. Miss it, and that furniture sits on the curb for two months.
Proactive Holiday Shift Alerts
When holidays push service 24 hours back, we text you the exact adjusted date so you don't leave cans out on an empty street.
Verified local schedule for your home
Schedule data sourced from official municipal and hauler information. No guessing.
