Activate Reminders for 89031 →Summer Hours (June 1 – Labor Day): 5:30 AM route start (June 1 through Labor Day). Roll carts out by 8:00 PM Wednesday night.
Standard Hours (Fall/Winter/Spring): 7:00 AM route start (September through May).
Curbside Time Window: Set bins out after 6:00 PM the evening before pickup. Remove carts from the street by 8:00 PM on service days.
Cart Storage Rule: City code 8.08.050 mandates that carts be placed behind fence screens or in garages on non-pickup days.
HOA Enforcement: Neighborhoods around Craig Ranch and Camino Al Norte routinely ticket bins left visible from the street on non-service days.
Holiday shifts apply when a major holiday lands on Thursday. In that event, pickup shifts forward 24 hours to Friday. Republic Services Southern Nevada observes the following 6 holidays:
Trash is collected weekly on Thursdays for single-family residential homes. Blue recycling carts and bulk items are collected bi-weekly on Thursdays according to A-Week.
The North Las Vegas Transfer Station at 315 W Cheyenne Ave accepts resident drop-offs Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Small branches that fit inside the closed brown cart are accepted. For larger trimmings, bundle them in 4-foot lengths and place them out on your scheduled bi-weekly bulk Thursday.
