We alert you when it's regular trash day, when recycling week rotates, and when holiday schedules move your pickup date by 24 hours.
Activate Reminders for 89135 →Summer Hours (June 1 – Labor Day): 5:30 AM start (June 1 through Labor Day). Put cans out by 8:00 PM Thursday night.
Standard Hours (Fall/Winter/Spring): 7:00 AM start (Fall, Winter, and Spring).
Curbside Time Window: City of Las Vegas code permits containers at the curb starting at 6:00 PM the night prior. Cans must be removed by midnight on collection day.
Cart Storage Rule: Summerlin Master Community Association CC&Rs strictly prohibit carts standing on driveways or visible behind short side walls.
HOA Enforcement: The Summerlin Council conducts regular neighborhood sweeps; repeated trash can visibility citations can escalate to $100 per week fines.
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day shift collection days by 1 business day for that week. Republic Services Southern Nevada observes the following 6 holidays:
Summerlin South single-family residential homes (including The Willows) follow Friday A-Week recycling bi-weekly.
Under Summerlin CC&Rs, carts must be kept inside your garage or behind a 6-foot screened side yard gate so they cannot be seen from common areas or streets.
