Help neighbors verify whether their street is delayed by upcoming holidays so cans aren't left out on empty curbs:
Check address-specific pickup days, recycling week parity, and local transfer stations:
In Las Vegas, residential pickup generally slides forward by one business day when an observed municipal holiday falls on a weekday. Days earlier in the week prior to the holiday run on normal schedules.
Curbside solid waste, recycling, and bulk collection across Las Vegas is managed by Clark County, City of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas & Henderson and serviced primarily by Republic Services Southern Nevada.
Place out after 6:00 PM the evening before (out by 5:30 AM in summer). Return carts behind gates or inside garages by 8:00 PM to avoid $25–$100 HOA CC&R fines.
From June 1 through Labor Day, Republic Services drivers start pickup routes at 5:30 AM across Southern Nevada (Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson) to avoid afternoon desert heat.
Most HOAs (Summerlin, Green Valley, Mountain's Edge) require cans to be rolled curbside no earlier than 6:00 PM the night before and returned out of public view by 8:00 PM on pickup day.
